There are two real Mexican Taquerias in Knoxville that I know about. This one of them. I've been numerous times for lunch. They have a taco truck and at least one more location. They are most often very busy. The staff remains composed and polite during a rush of customers. Tacos, tortas, enchiladas, all outstanding. Salsa bar is available with a broad range of tastes and heat levels. It's not much for ambience. They have my favorite Jamaica or hibiscus punch occasionally. Horchata, mango punches.

Easily the best Mexican food I have eaten in Tennessee. Tortillas made in house, Al pastor is tender, marinated well, very impressed and that's coming from a southern Californian. Thank you for all you do, I will be back!

Honestly, I don't know if there was real wood in there, this food is other worldly. You'll wish you carried a rubber-maid so you can dump your guts out, and get them filled back up.

Tried this restaurant after striking out at a chain Mexican restaurant. Boy, am I glad the first choice bombed due to mismanagement issues. This restaurant is clean, servers courteous, and customers diverse and complimentary about many dishes offered. We will definitely be enjoying their food again and again! Great neighborhood find!

Best authentic Mexican food. We had family visiting Knoxville and they wanted good Mexican food. We took them here because they have several choices and reasonable prices. We love the tacos and nachos!

Very tasty I got full of of 2 tacos. The rice was good, Just wish it didn't have onions. I am In town visiting and wanted to try some Mexican food and this was a hit for me and my kids. You must try it if you are in Knoxville. The meat has delicious seasoning on it .
